APC Jittery Because Opposition Is Gathering Momentum, Dele Momodu Says

Dele Momodu, publisher of Ovation International, said the All Progressives Congress appears uneasy as opposition parties mobilise ahead of the 2027 elections, urging unity among opposition forces.

Dele Momodu, publisher of Ovation International, has said the All Progressives Congress appears “jittery” because opposition parties are gaining momentum ahead of the 2027 general elections, according to a statement.

Momodu spoke in response to events involving opposition actors and electoral mobilisation efforts.

He issued the comments amid discussions about political alliances and preparations by parties ahead of the 2027 elections.

In his statement, Momodu said the APC appears unsettled as various opposition parties intensify engagements and coordination efforts.

He described the unfolding political activities as signs that opposition forces were organising and mobilising across Nigeria.

Momodu also called on opposition elements to maintain unity and consolidate their efforts, saying that collective action would be critical as elections approach.

He noted that building strong alliances would help shape opposition impact in the electoral cycle.

The publisher cited recent political meetings and exchanges among opposition leaders as reflective of increased political engagement nationwide.

He said that such interactions indicated preparations for the 2027 polls were gaining traction among parties outside the APC.

Momodu emphasised the need for strategic planning and cohesion among opposition parties to enhance their competitiveness in elections.

He said opposition leaders should work together to strengthen political platforms and present viable alternatives to voters.
