Google Parent Alphabet’s Annual Revenue Tops $400bn for First Time

Alphabet Inc., the parent company of Google, reported annual revenue exceeding $400 billion for the first time in its history, the company said in its 2025 full‑year earnings report. This milestone reflects sustained growth across its digital advertising, cloud computing and services businesses.

According to the financial results, Alphabet’s total annual revenue for 2025 surpassed $400 billion, a record high for the company since its founding, with fourth‑quarter revenue reaching approximately $113.8 billion, an 18 per cent year‑on‑year increase.

The company’s core search and advertising business continued to generate the largest portion of revenue, supported by strong demand for digital ads, while the cloud computing segment posted significant growth, contributing to the overall annual performance.

Alphabet’s YouTube unit also recorded substantial annual revenue from advertising and subscription services, further contributing to the company’s total revenue in 2025.

The revenue milestone underscores Alphabet’s continued expansion in key technology markets, including internet services and cloud infrastructure.

The earnings report provides insight into the company’s performance across diverse business lines during 2025, with the annual revenue figure marking a notable benchmark for Alphabet’s global operations.
