The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited said it generated N60.5 trillion in revenue and posted a profit after tax of N5.76 trillion in 2025, according to its monthly report published by the company.
The figures were disclosed in a report published on the company’s website and reflect the company’s financial performance for the full year 2025. The report also included information on production and infrastructure developments.
NNPC said it remitted N14.706 trillion to statutory government agencies from its 2025 operations.
The report showed that crude oil and condensate production averaged 1.54 million barrels per day in December 2025, while natural gas production stood at 6.914 billion standard cubic feet per day.
NNPC said its retail outlets recorded 65 per cent availability in December, and upstream pipelines achieved 100 per cent availability during the period.
The company indicated that the Obiafu-Obrikom-Oben pipeline project reached 91 per cent completion and that the Ajaokuta-Kaduna-Kano pipeline project also attained 91 per cent completion.
The report noted that production performance in December was affected by planned maintenance work at facilities in the Stardeep-Agbami and Renaissance-Estuary areas and by unplanned production facility outages
